I'd forgotten how useful this site can be. Used it again recently when looking for recesources to support research:
"Hub (noun) A centre of activity or interest; a focal point."
"What is the Archives Hub? The Archives Hub provides a single point of access to descriptions of archival collections that are available for research in universities and colleges. Anyone may use the Hub. The Hub includes descriptions for the archives of a wide range of individuals, families, and organisations, from medieval times right up to the present day. The Archives Hub also forms one part of the UK's National Archives Network, alongside related networking projects.

Welcome to my blog. I am a lecturer at the University of Sheffield, in the Department of Information Studies http://www.shef.ac.uk/is/. I teach mainly on the MA in Librarianship. In my work, I often come across information that would be useful to share with students. This blog seems a good place to keep that information. The topics mainly reflect the subjects I teach: e.g. management, health information, business information, special libraries. I will also add items from the media.
